We are delighted to present an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join a growing Claims Team. This is a customer-focused role where you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional claims services to clients. Your expertise in handling a wide range of commercial claims will ensure that each claim is managed professionally and efficiently from start to finish, while adhering to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage claims across multiple products, including but not limited to Property, Employers & Public Liability and Motor Fleet.
- You will be responsible for your own caseload with cases of varied complexity and values.
- Maintain an efficient diary system for claims and ensure follow-ups are conducted as needed.
- Provide claims information and reports to the broking department and clients as required.
- Acknowledge new claims to both clients and insurers, keeping clients informed throughout the process to ensure the best outcomes.
- Generate claims MI and reports when required.
Experience & Skills:
- You will be an experienced commercial Claims Handler, ideally with strong knowledge of Casualty and Property losses.
- You will demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills to ensure the best outcome for your clients.
- Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a natural ability to problem-solve and multitask.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
