b Overview /b p In this senior leadership role you will design and build a claims function from the ground up within a long-established MGA. You will define the strategy, operating model, and governance, and implement systems and service standards to enable growth. The role invites innovative thinking on technology, automation and AI to enhance efficiency, consistency and client outcomes. You will collaborate with underwriting, operations and leadership to align claims with the wider business strategy and forge strong external partnerships. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li salary circa 125,000 /li li senior-level benefits package /li li UK-wide remit /li li location flexibility /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Design and implement the overall claims strategy /li li Build the claims function, operating model and governance from scratch /li li Establish systems, processes and service standards across the claims lifecycle /li li Collaborate with underwriting, operations and senior leadership to support the commercial strategy /li li Develop relationships with capacity providers, brokers, TPAs and other partners /li li Oversee complex or high-value claims requiring senior input /li li Create MI, reporting and controls for performance management and regulatory oversight /li li Identify opportunities to streamline through technology and automation /li li Support the evolving operating model during business growth /li li Build and develop the claims team as the function scales /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant senior-level experience in claims within UK commercial insurance /li li Credibility to operate in an entrepreneurial environment (MGA/MGU, insurer or similar) /li li Experience setting up or transforming claims operations /li li Knowledge of claims systems, process design and automation /li li Exposure to AI or technology-driven decision making is advantageous /li li Ability to align claims with business strategy and growth /li /ul ul li Strategic thinking /li li Stakeholder management /li li Leadership and team development /li li Claims systems knowledge /li li Process design /li li Automation /li /ul
