A leading insurance broker is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Consultant to help drive quality, compliance and continuous improvement across a high-profile placement function. This role offers real visibility and influence, supporting complex commercial risks and working closely with senior operational and technical stakeholders.
The role
- Ensuring business is placed securely and in line with regulatory and internal standards.
- Conducting detailed QA reviews across new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
- Auditing case files and handler activity to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Producing regular MI and insight to support operational and regulatory decision-making.
- Leading thematic reviews and contributing to FCA and compliance-led activity.
- Translating regulation into practical controls, coaching and improved outcomes.
About you
- You will bring proven QA, audit or compliance experience from a commercial insurance environment and be confident challenging standards while working collaboratively.
- You will also offer strong knowledge of FCA frameworks and regulatory expectations.
- Experience delivering coaching, feedback or training to improve quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
Professional insurance qualifications (CII Diploma / ACII / FCII) are desirable but not essential.
