We're working with a well-established and respected independent insurance broker based in Lincolnshire, who are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join their growing team. The Role:
As a Commercial Claims Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a wide range of commercial insurance claims from first notification through to settlement, ensuring clients receive a seamless and supportive experience throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a variety of commercial claims including property, liability, motor, and combined risks
- Managing the full lifecycle of claims, from first notification to closure
- Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, and clients to ensure swift and fair resolution
- Keeping clients informed throughout the claims process, providing expert guidance and support
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with FCA regulations
- Working closely with Account Handlers and Executives to ensure client satisfaction
About You:
- Experience handling commercial insurance claims within a broker or insurer environment
- Strong technical knowledge across key commercial lines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining service quality
- Cert CII qualified or working towards (supported if not yet achieved)
- Experience using Acturis or similar broking software (advantageous)
