We are working with an established insurance broker based in Leicester who is looking for a Commercial Insurance Handler to work in their SME department. You will be dealing with clients paying premiums up to 10,000.

The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with renewals, mid-term alterations and new business quotations. You will deal with client queries on the phone and by email. You will provide a comprehensive customer service to meet the insurance needs of a range of clients. You will join a long-standing team who will provide training and guidance where necessary.

The Required Skills:

  • Previous experience within insurance is essential, ideally within Commercial Broking or Underwriting.
  • Experience of dealing with package policies, commercial combined and E-Trading will be an advantage.
  • Candidates from an Insurance Company or Insurance Broker background will be considered for this role.
  • Strong IT, communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work within a team and individually.
