Managing Director - Commercial Insurance Broking Newcastle This is a rare opportunity to take control of an established commercial insurance office with 12 staff, approximately £10m in GWP controlled and a strong regional client base already in place.
You will inherit a capable team, an established portfolio and the backing of a well-funded national broking group that gives its regional leaders the freedom and financial incentive to grow.
The opportunity You will take full responsibility for the performance and development of the Newcastle office, combining leadership, client engagement and commercial strategy.
Your remit will include: Leading, developing and retaining the existing team Protecting and growing the current £10m GWP portfolio Strengthening relationships with key clients, insurers and introducers Recruiting high-quality insurance professionals where required Developing new revenue streams through organic growth and selective hires Maintaining strong operational, regulatory and service standards Building a clear plan for the next stage of the office’s development Who this could suit You may already be an Insurance Broking Managing Director, Regional Director or Senior Account Executive with leadership responsibility and a strong local network.
You will understand commercial insurance, know how to build trusted relationships and be able to balance client retention with ambitious but sensible growth.
