Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for your next opportunity with a supportive and growing independent brokerage?
We\’re recruiting on behalf of a long-established and respected insurance broker based in Sheffield, known for their client-first approach and commitment to quality service. Due to continued growth, they\’re looking to add a Commercial Account Handler to their professional and friendly team.
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial clients across a range of industries
- Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy queries
- Preparing and issuing policy documentation accurately and on time
- Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive premiums
- Supporting Account Executives on new business and retention
- Providing excellent service and building strong client relationships
What They\’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Commercial Insurance role (broker or insurer side)
- Good knowledge of products such as property, liability, fleet, and combined covers
- Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Experience using Acturis is beneficial but not essential
- Cert CII qualified or working towards (desirable)
