We're working with a highly respected independent insurance broker in North West London who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Account Executive to take ownership of a substantial inherited portfolio of commercial clients. This is a senior, client-facing role offering immediate responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with complex, high-value commercial risks - without the pressure of building a book from scratch.

The Role:

  • As a Senior Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing and developing an established portfolio of commercial and corporate clients.
  • You'll act as the primary point of contact, lead renewal strategy, and work closely with internal broking and account handling teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of an inherited portfolio of commercial clients
  • Leading client relationships and renewal strategy
  • Managing complex insurance programmes across multiple commercial lines
  • Working closely with account handlers and technical teams to service clients
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance cover and grow client relationships

About You:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive managing complex commercial or corporate clients
  • Strong technical knowledge across core commercial classes
  • Confident leading senior client relationships and renewal discussions
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
  • Professional, proactive, and client-focused
  • Cert CII / Dip CII qualified or working towards
  • Experience with Acturis or similar broking systems desirable
