Based out of the West Sussex branch, you'll focus purely on new business generation, supported by experienced internal teams and a well-established market presence.
The Role
You'll be responsible for developing new commercial insurance business across SME and mid-market clients, building your own pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term relationships. With access to leading insurers, competitive products, and a recognisable brand, you'll be free to concentrate on what you do best - opening doors and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new commercial insurance business through networking, referrals, and self-generated leads
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline across SME and mid-market clients
- Present tailored insurance solutions to prospective clients
- Work closely with Account Executives and internal broking teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- Build lasting relationships with clients, insurers, and introducers
- Achieve and exceed new business and income targets
About You
- Proven experience in a Development Executive / New Business role within commercial insurance
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the UK market
- Confident, proactive, and comfortable operating in a target-driven environment
- A natural relationship builder with strong presentation and negotiation skills
- ACII qualified or working towards (beneficial, not essential)
