We are working with a hugely successful MGA business who have been trading in the insurance market for over 25 years and have exciting plans for growth. These plans require experienced Commercial Insurance Underwriters who are looking to work within an Independent business where you can genuinely see your efforts having a positive impact.
As an Underwriter you will:
- Work within the New Business Team to underwrite commercial new business enquiries that are submitted from a panel of key trading partners across the UK
- Operate within level of empowerment based on experience
- Deliver exceptional service to customers based on both email and tele engagement
- Offer advice and support to customers around suitable cover and pricing options
- Work closely with Senior Underwriters in the referral process for large or complex risks
As an Underwriter you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years Commercial Underwriting experience preferably in Property, Casualty or Professional Risks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good understanding of the insurance market in the UK
- Experience of underwriting new business would be preferred but is not essential
As an Underwriter you will receive:
- Salary up to circa £35,000
- Bonus structure
