As a Commercial Underwriter you will:

• Drive regional growth by hitting income, profit and performance targets
• Manage a portfolio of broker accounts, balancing strong relationships with commercial discipline
• Underwrite new business, renewals and mid-term changes within agreed authority levels
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key brokers to strengthen market presence
• Deliver against premium and loss ratio targets while keeping an eye on long‑term profitability
• Ensure all documentation, surveys and reporting are accurate and up to date
• Review cases to maintain underwriting quality and consistency

As a Commercial Underwriter you will have:

• At least 2 years' experience in commercial underwriting or broking
• Strong track record of managing and growing broker relationships
• Confident negotiator with a sharp eye for risk and pricing
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth and profitability
• Consistent delivery against targets and objectivesComfortable working across teams in a collaborative environment
• Solid understanding of the insurance market and trading dynamics
