The Role
- Take ownership of an existing portfolio of SME and mid-market commercial clients, acting as their trusted insurance adviser while identifying opportunities to expand relationships and generate new business.
- Manage and develop an inherited portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Deliver renewals, mid-term adjustments, and day-to-day client servicing.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book.
- Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals, and leads.
- Work closely with internal broking and support teams to deliver a seamless service.
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients and insurers alike.
About You
- Experience as a Commercial Account Executive / client-facing commercial insurance role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and the UK market.
- Confident managing renewals and advising clients independently.
- Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in business development.
- ACII qualified or working towards (advantageous, not essential).
