Commercial Account Handler – Blackburn – Hybrid working

This role is for a Commercial Account Handler who wants varied cross-class work, sensible autonomy and the support of a broker that is growing for the right reasons.

You will handle a mixed book of SME, mid-market and some corporate clients across commercial combined, property, liability, motor fleet, professional risks, and more. The role comes with hybrid working and genuine flexibility.

The role

You will manage a varied portfolio of cross-class commercial clients, working across a wide range of risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy enquiries
• Preparing insurer presentations and negotiating terms
• Reviewing policy documentation and identifying gaps in cover
• Supporting Account Executives with client retention and new business
• Building strong relationships with clients and insurers
• Keeping accurate records and meeting regulatory requirements

Who this could suit

You will already have commercial broking experience, whether as a Commercial Account Handler, Broker or Commercial Insurance Adviser. You should be comfortable managing renewals and dealing directly with both clients and insurers.

Cert CII progress would be useful, although practical experience and sound technical judgement will matter more.
