We're delighted to be working with a leading independent insurance broker based in Alcester, who are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their growing team. The Role:
As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients across a broad range of industries. You'll provide technical support to Account Executives, handle renewals, and ensure all clients receive an exceptional level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries efficiently
- Preparing and issuing accurate documentation and reports
- Negotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms and bespoke coverage
- Supporting Account Executives with client meetings and new business activity
- Maintaining compliance and accurate client records in line with FCA standards
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and underwriters
About You:
- Experience in a commercial insurance handling role within a broker environment
- Good technical knowledge of core commercial products including property, liability, motor fleet, and combined covers
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, organised approach
- Experience using Acturis or similar broking platforms
- Cert CII qualified or working towards (support provided)
