We're delighted to be working with a leading, highly respected insurance broker who are looking to appoint an experienced Client Director to manage a substantial portfolio of established corporate clients. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior client management position with no new business target - instead, your focus will be on maintaining and strengthening long-term client relationships and delivering exceptional service to a portfolio of key corporate accounts.
The Role: As Client Director, you'll act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of major corporate clients across a range of sectors. You'll provide strategic insurance advice, ensure robust programme management, and work closely with internal technical teams and underwriters to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking full ownership of a large, established book of corporate clients
- Leading renewal strategy and delivering first-class service and advice
- Managing complex insurance programmes and bespoke placements
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships at senior level
- Working collaboratively with Account Handlers, technical specialists, and insurers
- Identifying opportunities for added value and improving retention
- Ensuring compliance with FCA and internal governance standards
About You:
- Experienced in corporate insurance broking or client management
- Strong technical knowledge across all major commercial lines
- Proven ability to manage complex and high-value client portfolios
- Excellent communicator with strong relationship management skills
- Strategic thinker, confident presenting at board level
- Cert CII / Dip CII qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Professional, proactive, and client-focused
