As a Senior Motor Trade Underwriter you will be:
- Underwriting new and existing Motor Trade Combined business.
- Developing and managing broker relationships across the region.
- Supporting portfolio growth through effective trading and retention activity.
- Taking ownership of complex underwriting cases and negotiations.
- Acting as a technical referral point for colleagues.
- Using market and broker insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
The successful candidate for the Senior Motor Trade Underwriter will have:
- Experience underwriting and trading Motor Trade Combined business.
- Knowledge of the broker market and regional trading environment.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Sound underwriting judgement and technical expertise.
- Communication skills with the ability to influence brokers and stakeholders.
- Dip CII, or progress towards, would be advantageous.
