Stride Recruitment are excited to present an excellent opportunity for experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our long-standing Building Service Provider Clients in Dartford, Kent.
Main Purpose:
The Supervisor will be required to ensure all engineers are completing PPM and reactive maintenance breakdowns, including tasks such as changing light fittings, moving sockets, completing fire alarm/AHU work, and managing full electrical or mechanical shutdowns across the hospital.
Main Accountabilities:
- Ensure all engineers complete PPM and remedial work.
- Maintain a can-do approach to work.
- Work within a small maintenance team, consisting of a mechanical & electrical shift engineer and a semi-skilled shift engineer, along with a full day team of engineering and support staff.
What you will need for the role:
- Good all-round technical ability and a working knowledge of a wide variety of systems; knowledge of building maintenance preferred, but not essential.
- Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Commercial/Hospital buildings.
- City and Guilds certification.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- The ability to multi-task and be methodical.
- A pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Computer literate.
- CAFM Experience.
Temporary – Permanent or Long Term contract.
