An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded specialist property lender as a Portfolio Manager within their growing Bridging & Development Finance division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a larger organisation where they can continue to develop their expertise across specialist property lending. The business is happy to consider candidates from Bridging Finance, Development Finance or Specialist Buy-to-Let backgrounds and will provide ongoing training and development.
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of Bridging and Development Finance facilities from completion through to redemption.
- Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers, brokers and solicitors throughout the life of each loan.
- Monitor loan performance, expiry dates, extensions, drawdowns, construction milestones and covenant compliance.
- Review project progress, identifying and escalating any potential risks or issues.
- Assess requests for facility amendments, extensions and additional funding, preparing recommendations where required.
- Produce accurate portfolio reports and maintain up-to-date customer records.
- Monitor cash flows and project performance against approved lending proposals.
- Work closely with Credit, Underwriting and Lending teams to ensure facilities are managed effectively.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while maintaining strong risk management practices.
About You:

You’ll have strong relationship management skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Experience within heavy refurbishment or development finance is advantageous but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
