Stridden Limited are recruiting an experienced Shuttering Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter for an ongoing commercial construction project in Wolverhampton. This position is specifically for an experienced shuttering carpenter. You must have previous formwork/shuttering experience and hold a minimum Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
There are 9–10 hours available per day, with plenty of additional overtime opportunities throughout the project.
Duties
- Shuttering and formwork carpentry
- Building and installing formwork for concrete structures
- Traditional timber shuttering
- Measuring, cutting and assembling formwork
- Working from construction drawings
- Striking and adapting formwork as required
- Working alongside the wider site team
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site safety
Requirements
- Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card or higher – essential
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter
- Commercial construction experience
- Confident working from drawings
- Own tools and PPE
- Recent, checkable references
- Reliable and able to start immediately
Pay: £26.00 per hour
9–10 hours per day with plenty of overtime available. This is ongoing work, with consistent hours available for reliable and experienced shuttering carpenters.
