Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established contractor who is currently looking for an experienced Appointed Person to assist on a site in Warwick. This is a half-day assignment with a full day's pay. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe lifting operation required to relocate site turnstiles.

Appointed Person Key Duties:

  • Plan and oversee the lifting operation in accordance with current lifting regulations.
  • Prepare or review the lifting plan and ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely.
  • Coordinate with the crane operator, lifting team and site management.
  • Ensure the movement of the turnstiles is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with all Health & Safety procedures on site.

Requirements:

  • CPCS Appointed Person (A61) or NPORS equivalent.
  • Previous experience planning and supervising lifting operations.
  • Full PPE.
  • Ability to provide at least one recent work reference.
  • Reliable transport to site.
