Tractor Driver needed in Wakefield

Start: 16th February 2026

Location: Wakefield

Rate: £19 - £21 per hour

Hours: 7.30 to 5pm

Job Type: Temporary

Duration: 4 weeks plus

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Tractor Operator to join their team on a new commercial project in Wakefield.

Tractor Operator Key Duties:

  • Operating a John Deere Tractor moving various materials / trailers around the site
  • Daily plant checks
  • Performing all related duties on site as instructed

Tractor Operator Requirements:

  • CPCS (A33) or NPORS (N601) Agricultural Tractor Qualification – Blue Carded preferred
  • Previous experience as a Tractor Operator essential
  • Previous experience working with a construction environment preferred
  • A valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to commute to site reliably
  • 2 references on application
