Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter for approximately 1 month’s work on a construction project in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, starting ASAP.

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire

Rate: TBC

Duration: Approximately 1 month

Hours: Minimum 9 hours paid per day

Start: ASAP

Job Type: Temporary / CIS

We are looking for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join a busy construction project in Trowbridge. The successful candidate must have solid previous experience in shuttering/formwork carpentry and be confident completing works to a high standard.

Key Duties

  • Shuttering and formwork carpentry
  • Constructing and installing formwork
  • Working from drawings and site specifications
  • Measuring, cutting and assembling timber/formwork
  • Striking and dismantling formwork when required
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and safely
  • Working alongside other trades and site management
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working area

Requirements

  • Valid Blue CSCS Card – essential
  • Previous Shuttering Carpenter experience – essential
  • Strong knowledge of shuttering and formwork
  • Own tools and PPE
  • Reliable and able to commit to approximately 1 month of work
  • References for previous shuttering/formwork work
  • Available to start ASAP
