Stridden Limited is recruiting on behalf of an established contractor for an experienced Working Supervisor / Ganger to join a busy commercial site in Stevenage. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hands-on supervisor who can lead from the front, keep works on programme, and maintain high health and safety standards on site.
Key Duties:
- Supervising operatives on site carrying out brick slip removal
- Ensuring works are progressing in line with programme, or ahead of schedule where possible
- Liaising with the site management team
- Maintaining site health and safety standards at all times
- Supporting the team on site where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Working Supervisor / Ganger is essential
- Previous experience in demolition / cladding a benefit
- Blue CSCS card as a minimum
- Gold or Black CSCS card would be an advantage
- Full PPE required, including hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots
- Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling
- One recent work reference required at application stage
- Must be able to travel to site reliably
