Telescopic Forklift Operator needed in Stevenage.

Location: Stevenage

Rate: £21.50 per hour

Duration: 5-6 months plus

Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm

Paid Hours: 9 hours paid per day

Job Type: Temporary

Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established contractor who are looking for an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to join their busy site in Stevenage. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator who is confident working on a busy construction site and happy to muck in with the wider team when plant duties are quiet.

Key Duties:

  • Operating a Telescopic Forklift safely and efficiently
  • Unloading material deliveries and distributing materials around site as required
  • Ensuring site teams have the materials they need to keep work moving
  • Completing and maintaining plant inspection sheets
  • Following site health and safety procedures at all times
  • Assisting the team with general site duties when not operating plant

Requirements:

  • Minimum CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification – blue card preferred
  • Experience operating a Telehandler on a fast paced busy site
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Good attitude and willingness to support the site team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Ability to commute to site reliably
  • 1 reference available on application
