Telescopic Forklift Operator needed in Stevenage.
Location: Stevenage
Rate: £21.50 per hour
Duration: 5-6 months plus
Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm
Paid Hours: 9 hours paid per day

Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established contractor who are looking for an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to join their busy site in Stevenage. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator who is confident working on a busy construction site and happy to muck in with the wider team when plant duties are quiet.
Key Duties:
- Operating a Telescopic Forklift safely and efficiently
- Unloading material deliveries and distributing materials around site as required
- Ensuring site teams have the materials they need to keep work moving
- Completing and maintaining plant inspection sheets
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting the team with general site duties when not operating plant
Requirements:
- Minimum CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification – blue card preferred
- Experience operating a Telehandler on a fast paced busy site
- Valid CSCS card
- Good attitude and willingness to support the site team
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Ability to commute to site reliably
- 1 reference available on application
