Job Description

Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established Groundworks Contractor who is looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy site in Shefford.

This role will initially be for 4 weeks, with a strong possibility of extending to 3–4 months depending on the release of further plots.

You will be operating a JCB 14m Telehandler, supporting the site team by safely moving materials around the development and ensuring trades have everything they need to keep the project running efficiently.

  • Key Duties
  • Operating a JCB 14m Telehandler.
  • Supplying materials to bricklayers, groundworkers and site trades.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Moving pallets, timber, blocks and other site materials.
  • Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects.
  • Working safely alongside site management and operatives.
  • Assisting with general site duties when required.

Requirements

  • Valid CPCS Blue Card or Competent Operator NPORS with CSCS Logo.
  • Previous experience operating a 14m Telehandler on residential housing sites.
  • Excellent awareness of site health & safety.
  • Own transport & driving licence essential.
  • Two recent work references.
