Groundworks Working Supervisor needed in Leamington Spa.
Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
Rate: £220 - £240 per day
Hours: 7.30am to 5.00pm
Job Type: Temporary

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Groundworks and Civils Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Working Supervisor to join their team in Leamington Spa.
Key Duties:
- Supervising and working alongside a groundworks gang on a commercial project.
- Overseeing pile caps and pile cropping works.
- Supervising a 3m reduced dig excavation package.
- Managing concrete blinding and slab preparation works.
- Ensuring the site team adheres to the company's working procedures.
- Supervising and coordinating daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Reporting all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents and issues.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment, ensuring the team wears full PPE at all times.
- Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, etc.
- Leading on all aspects of health, safety and welfare on site, including risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans.
Requirements:
- SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification.
- CSCS Card.
- Previous experience supervising groundworks packages including pile caps, pile cropping, deep excavations and concrete works.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to lead a team whilst remaining hands-on when required.
