Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Groundworker for a construction project in Reading, Berkshire.
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Rate: £23.50 per hour
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks – project is nearing completion
Hours Paid per Day: 8 hours
Job Type: Temporary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Groundworker to join an existing construction project in Reading for the final 3 weeks of the job. This role would suit someone with strong all-round groundworks experience who is confident working independently and can get stuck in with the remaining works required to bring the project through to completion.
Key Duties
- General groundworks
- Drainage works
- Kerbing and edging
- Slabbing and paving
- Concreting
- Finishing works
- Making good and snagging
- Assisting with final external works
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures
- Working alongside other trades and site management
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong previous groundworks experience
- Confident carrying out a range of groundworks duties
- Full PPE
- Own tools where required
- Reliable transport to Reading
- Recent relevant references
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- Ability to commit to the remaining 3 weeks of the project
