Experienced Bricklayer / Stonemason – Long Buckby – 1 Week Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Bricklayer / Stonemason for approximately 1 week’s work on a construction project in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire. The work will involve building stone front entrance piers, so applicants must be highly experienced in working with stone and able to provide references specifically demonstrating previous stonework experience. Location: Long Buckby, Northamptonshire Duration: Approximately 1 week Job Type: Temporary / CIS Start: ASAP / TBC Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing stone entrance piers to a high standard. This is a skilled finishing role where the quality and appearance of the completed stonework is extremely important. Key Duties * Building stone front entrance piers * Setting out and constructing piers accurately * Cutting, shaping and laying stone as required * Producing high-quality, neat and consistent finishes * Working accurately from site requirements/drawings * Maintaining excellent workmanship throughout Requirements * Minimum Blue Skilled CSCS Card * Extensive previous experience working with stone – essential * Must be able to provide references specifically for previous stonework * Experienced Bricklayer / Stonemason * Confident completing high-quality decorative/visible stonework * Own tools and PPE * Reliable and able to work independently to a high standard Please do not apply if your experience is predominantly standard brick and block work and you cannot provide references for previous stonework.
