Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established contractor who are looking for an experienced Telescopic Forklift & Roller Operator to join their busy site in Gloucester. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator who is confident working on a busy construction site and happy to muck in with the wider team when plant duties are quiet.
Key Duties:
- Operating a Telescopic Forklift and Ride-On Roller safely and efficiently
- Unloading material deliveries and distributing materials around site as required
- Ensuring site teams have the materials they need to keep work moving
- Completing and maintaining plant inspection sheets
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting the team with general site duties when not operating plant
Requirements:
- Minimum CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification – blue card preferred
- Experience operating both a Telehandler and Ride-On Roller
- Valid CSCS card
- Forward Tipping Dumper ticket would be beneficial
- Good attitude and willingness to support the site team
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Ability to commute to site reliably
- 1 reference available on application
