Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Telehandler Driver (FLTD) for work on a new-build residential development in Burwell, Cambridgeshire, starting Monday 21st September and running until approximately 29th September.
Location: Burwell, Cambridgeshire
Rate: £21.00 per hour
Hours: 9 hours paid per day
Start: Monday 21st September
Duration: Until approximately 29th September

The successful candidate will be operating a telescopic forklift on a busy new-build residential housing development, assisting with the safe movement and distribution of materials around site. Applicants must be experienced operators who are confident working around trades, plots and live site operations.
Key Duties
- Operating the telescopic forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving and distributing materials around site
- Supplying trades and plots with materials
- Carrying out daily machine checks
- Working closely with site management and other trades
- Maintaining safe working practices at all times
- Assisting with general site duties when the machine is not in use where required
Requirements
- Blue CPCS Card or Blue NPORS Card – essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating a telehandler
- Strong previous experience on new-build residential housing sites – essential
- Able to provide references for previous telehandler work
- Own PPE
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the full duration of the assignment
Please note: Applicants with Red CPCS/NPORS cards will not be considered for this position. A Blue Competent Operator card is required.
