Long-term opportunity for an established three-man gang: one 360 Excavator Operator (above and below 10 tonnes) and two skilled Groundworkers.

Start: Monday 10th August 2026

Location: North Bristol

Rate: 360 - £22/£24 per hour DOE, GW - £21/£23 per hour DOE

Hours: 7.30am – 5pm (Possible Overtime)

Job Type: Long-term temporary contract

Duration: Up to 2 years

Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established Groundworks and Civils Contractor seeking an experienced, reliable three-man gang for a long-term project in North Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity offering continuity of work for the right team.

Key Duties:

  • Drainage and deep drainage
  • Foundations, ducting and utilities
  • Kerbing, edging and paving
  • Concreting and finishing works
  • Operating the 360 excavator, forward-tipping dumper and ride-on roller as required

Essential Requirements:

  • Applications must be from a complete, established three-man gang comprising:
  • 1 x experienced 360 Excavator Operator holding valid CPCS or NPORS for above and below 10 tonnes, including Lifting Operations, plus an in-date safety-critical medical
  • 2 x skilled Groundworkers able to confidently cover all aspects of groundworks
  • Valid CSCS cards for both Groundworkers
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller tickets held within the gang
  • Full PPE and own hand tools
  • Proven experience working together, reliability and two recent relevant references
