Weighbridge & Logistics Administrator Location: Bedford Rate: £16.00 per hour Hours Paid per day: Full-time hours Job Type: Permanent

Stridden Limited are recruiting for a company within the waste recycling and skip hire industry who are currently looking for a Weighbridge & Logistics Administrator to join their busy depot team in Bedford.

Key Duties:

  • Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles
  • Verify waste types and complete duty of care transfer notes
  • Schedule and dispatch skip deliveries and collections
  • Coordinate daily driver movements and routing
  • Answer incoming calls, provide quotes, and take bookings
  • Assist with site compliance, health & safety, and environmental records
  • General administration, data entry, and filing duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within waste management, transport routing, or weighbridge operations desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills with customers and drivers
  • Basic IT skills including spreadsheets and word processing
  • Good geographical knowledge of Bedford and surrounding areas
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping
  • Ability to start work at 6:30 AM
  • 1 reference on application
  • Full PPE beneficial if required on site
