Duties
- Constructing and erecting formwork/shuttering
- Traditional timber shuttering
- Formwork for concrete structures
- Walls, columns, bases and slabs
- Striking and dismantling formwork
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Measuring, cutting and assembling materials
- Working alongside groundworkers and concreters
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and to the required standard
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card - relevant skilled trade card preferred
- Strong previous shuttering carpentry / formwork experience
- Experience working on commercial construction projects
- Ability to confidently work from drawings
- Full PPE
- Own tools
- Reliable transport to Lincoln, LN4
- Recent relevant references
- Ability to commit to ongoing work
- BPSS / Security Screening
Due to the nature of the project, candidates must be able to satisfy the project's BPSS/security screening requirements. Candidates will need to provide the required identification, employment/history and other documentation necessary to complete the screening process. Minor driving offences such as speeding do not apply to the project's criminal-record requirement.
