I am currently working with a leading International Law Firm who is looking to expand its Trademarks team due to growth within the business. They are looking for a candidate to take control of the Formalities side including filing applications and oppositions, working on renewals, processing registry correspondence, updating records and onboarding new clients. This is a newly created role, providing the chance to make this role your own within the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and filing trade mark and design applications.
  • Preparing and filing all registry forms including for oppositions and recordals.
  • Reporting and carrying out trade mark and design renewals.
  • Preparing initial cost estimates for trade mark and design filings.
  • Preparing trade mark and design schedules for clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience within a trademarks practice.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, as well as being able to work as part of a close team.
  • CITMA Paralegal Qualification preferred.
