A financial services firm in the City of London seek an experienced Compliance Team Secretary/Administrator to join them on a 12 month FTC Maternity cover, starting in November.

Hybrid working: 3/2

Hours: 9-5

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised individual who is interested in data, analytical and project work!

Working closely with and supporting the Head of Compliance and Financial Crime you will:

  • Manage the diaries, meetings and priorities of senior Compliance and Financial Crime stakeholders, liaising with internal and external contacts.
  • Monitor shared team inboxes, identify urgent matters for escalation and ensure regulatory enquiries and incidents are appropriately recorded and tracked.
  • Coordinate key regulatory, policy, project and contractual deadlines, ensuring actions and renewals are completed on time.
  • Support the delivery of annual Compliance plans, including training programmes, objectives and related activities.
  • Coordinate Compliance and Financial Crime training, including scheduling, attendance tracking, record keeping, follow-up and escalation of outstanding requirements.
  • Manage the relationship with external training providers and oversee the rollout and maintenance of regulatory e-learning content.
  • Maintain accurate training records and management information, producing reports and highlighting outstanding or non-compliant activity.
  • Provide administrative support for Compliance and Financial Crime committees, including agendas, meeting packs, minutes, action tracking and coordination of supporting materials.
  • Coordinate monthly regulatory and management reporting, ensuring data is accurate, complete and submitted within required deadlines.
  • Support the preparation and submission of key risk and performance metrics, including the collection, validation and reporting of relevant data.
  • Organise meetings, forums and working groups, including logistics, agendas, papers, minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate Compliance communications, newsletters and other internal updates, supporting content preparation where required.
  • Assist with presentations, training materials, reports and other documentation, including formatting and quality checking.
  • Manage annual and new-joiner compliance attestation processes and maintain appropriate records.
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the Compliance and Financial Crime functions as required.
