Paralegal
Location: Colchester
Salary: £26,226
Job Type: Permanent
Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days home

We are working with a highly regarded UK law firm to recruit a Paralegal into its specialist Property Securitisation team in Colchester.

The Role

  • Working closely with Partners and Solicitors, responsibilities will include:
  • Undertaking title checks and property due diligence
  • Obtaining Land Registry documents and conducting searches
  • Assisting with pre and post-completion matters
  • Managing your own caseload and monitoring outstanding items
  • Providing progress updates to clients and fee earners
  • Supporting the team on large-scale transactions

About You

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Law, Politics, Economics or a Humanities-related subject
  • Previous property or conveyancing experience is advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication, research and drafting abilities
  • Confident managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proactive, professional and keen to develop within a specialist legal team
