An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bids Manager to join a high-performing, professional services environment during a period of growth and transformation. Working as part of a collaborative business development and marketing function, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering compelling, high-quality proposals that win new business and strengthen client relationships.
The Role
You will lead the end-to-end management of bids, pitches, and proposals across a variety of strategic opportunities, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business. This is a highly visible position requiring strong project management, commercial awareness, and exceptional written communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full lifecycle of proposals, including RFIs, RFPs, and panel tenders
- Assessing opportunities and supporting bid/no bid decisions
- Developing winning strategies and key messaging
- Writing, editing, and refining high-impact proposal content
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver submissions to deadline
- Supporting preparation for client presentations and pitch meetings
- Gathering market, client, and competitor intelligence
- Driving continuous improvement of bid processes, tools, and content libraries
- Tracking pipeline activity and analysing bid performance
About You
You will be an experienced bids/proposals professional or a high-performing senior executive ready to step up into a manager role.
