Accounts Assistant Location: City of London Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days home
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of a highly regarded international law firm. This varied role will provide exposure across Accounts Payable, expenses, reconciliations and general accounting, working closely with the Senior Accounts Assistant and wider Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Accounts Payable function and processing expenses
- Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing accounting journals and assisting with VAT returns
- Supporting client and office account payments
- Assisting with financial reporting and audit requirements
- Providing general support across the Finance team
About You
- 6-12 months' accounts experience within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive, positive and confident working as part of a team
- Keen to learn and develop within finance
