A leading US law firm based near Liverpool Street is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to join their London office on a part-time basis. The Role
This person will provide essential administrative and clerical support to paralegals and practice assistants, assisting with a wide range of case-related tasks. This position focuses on organisation, document management, and general support activities rather than substantive legal work. You will work under supervision, ensuring the efficient handling and organisation of documentation in line with the firm's systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting paralegals and attorneys by gathering documents and information for ongoing matters
- Preparing materials, including files and signature packs for closings
- Compiling and organising document productions
- Supporting with filings, renewals, and lien searches where required
- Carrying out physical and electronic filing, indexing, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Organising, labelling, and managing files in accordance with firm procedures
- Retrieving documents and maintaining systematic filing systems
- Assisting with document numbering and general file organisation
- Supporting with ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as required
About You
- Previous experience in an administrative, legal support, or document-heavy role preferred
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable handling large volumes of documentation
- A proactive and reliable team player with a 'can-do' attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
