We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our growing team at Strickland MFG Ireland. This is a new key role responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and supporting efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage stock levels to meet production demands
- Maintain accurate inventory records using internal systems
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams
- Track incoming and outgoing materials and components
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
- Identify opportunities to improve stock control processes and reduce waste
Requirements:
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations (preferably within manufacturing/engineering)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience with Progress Plus
- Knowledge of engineering materials and components
