Due to continued growth, the business is looking for a motivated and organised business administrator to join our team within a busy manufacturing and engineering environment.

This is a varied supporting role across logistics, human resources, finance, sales administration departments within the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, reliable, with good IT skills and interested in developing a career in business administration, operations or finance.

Key Responsibilities Human Resources Support recruitment activities, including arranging interviews and preparing onboarding documentation.

Help coordinate induction programmes for new employees.

Maintain training and employee development records.

Assist with HR administration and compliance activities.

Accounting & Finance Assist with processing purchase invoices and supplier statements.

Support sales invoicing and credit-control activities.

Help reconcile receipts, expenses and supporting documentation.

Assist with maintaining accurate financial records using company accounting software.

Support month-end administrative activities.

Prepare financial documents, spreadsheets and reports as required.

Process payments and assist with following up outstanding customer accounts.

Invoicing & Dispatch Prepare and issue invoices for outgoing orders.

Coordinate with shipping and dispatch departments to monitor deliveries.

Assist with arranging transport and ensuring the correct documentation accompanies each shipment.

Maintain accurate dispatch and delivery records.

Prepare manual product packs and supporting documentation.

Assist with stamping and recording product serial plates where required.

Respond to customer and internal enquiries regarding deliveries and order status.

Sales & Customer Support Provide administrative support and cover for the sales team.

Answer incoming customer calls and respond to general enquiries.

Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email.

Provide product and order information where appropriate.

Assist with resolving customer queries and complaints.

Schedule customer collections, deliveries and appointments.

Support payment processing and follow up outstanding payments when required.

Prepare sales reports and spreadsheets.

Track sales KPIs and assist management with monitoring sales trends.

General Administration Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally.

Maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems.

Prepare letters, reports, presentations and business documents.

Manage calendars and assist with scheduling meetings.

Order office supplies and maintain stationery stock.

Maintain accurate customer and supplier records.

Support document control and quality management procedures.

Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

Provide reception and customer service support when required.

Provide general administrative support to different departments across the business.
