Our Worcester Department Store Café has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the St Richards Hospice team as a Bank Café Assistant. In this diverse and varied role, the applicant will assist in the day-to-day running of the café department, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the department at all times. The successful applicant will also assist with food preparation and serving meals to customers. This role is on a ‘Bank’ basis on an as and when required basis, with full flexibility of shifts. This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and may require supervision of volunteers under the age of 18.
About you: The successful applicant will be self-motivated, adaptable and able to work on their own initiative. A flexible attitude to working is essential. In addition, you will need to have high standards of customer service and food safety. Previous experience in a catering establishment such as a café, bar or restaurant is required and trained Barista experience is preferred; however, it is not essential as full training can be provided.
