Band 4 £28,598 - £31,022 (Full Time Equivalent). Actual salary £25,228 per annum. Full time, 5 days per week, 36.25 hours per week, Term time only, plus 2 weeks.
Role Overview: We are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Interventions) to support pupils in KS3 and KS4 within the SEND department so that every child succeeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote self-esteem and empower pupils to act independently.
- Support academic and personal development.
- Maintain high expectations of all pupils’ attainment and behaviour.
- Encourage students’ learning and work to get the best out of each pupil.
- Immerse yourself in all aspects of school life.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Passion for Interventions.
- TA3 qualification.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Enjoy working with young people.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (essential for all TA posts).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:00 pm (36.25 hours per week).
