STRETFORD GRAMMAR SCHOOL, Granby Road, Stretford, Manchester, M32 8JB. Acting Head: Mrs E Baxter. School Counsellor – Required from 1 September 2026 or earlier. Band 7 Point 26-29 (£30,987 to £33,486 FTE). Actual Salary - £12,928 - £13,823. Part time: 2 days (15 hours per week), Term time only plus 2 INSET days. Permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Assistant Headteacher Safeguarding and Attendance, the SEN Team, Progress Leaders and Pastoral Managers.

Interviews will be held on Monday 22nd June 2026. Completed application forms should be returned by 12 Noon on Monday 15 June 2026. Closing Date Monday 15 June 2026 at 12 Noon. Interview Date Monday 22 June 2026.
