The opportunity: StretchLAB is London's first dedicated assisted stretching brand, and now its biggest. Across seven studios, we deliver our proprietary 1 to 1 stretching method to clients ranging from desk bound professionals to elite athletes. We hire for character first. We are not looking for average; we are looking for practitioners who turn a one off booking into a five year relationship. We're recruiting at all three levels: Stretchologist, Senior Stretchologist, and Master Trainer. Whether you're new to assisted stretching or already an experienced bodywork professional, there's a route in, and a clear path up.
What you'll be paid:
- Stretchologist (Level 1) / £24.00 per hour / £3,396 per month
- Senior Stretchologist (Level 2) / £26.00 per hour / £3,654 per month
- Master Trainer (Level 3) / £28.00 per hour / £3,912 per month
Weekend uplift: £2/hr for 1 weekend day worked, or £5/hr if you work both. Our peak client demand sits on weekends. Recurring membership commission that compounds for as long as your client stays on. Commission on packages plus tips from clients you have impressed. Monthly CPD led by our Master Trainer, funded by us.
Three levels, one clear path:
- Level 1, Stretchologist: Your entry point. You've completed our proprietary training method and are building your first StretchLAB client base.
- Level 2, Senior Stretchologist: Unlocked by completing 3 CPD courses with our Master Trainer. Typically reached 3 to 4 months in.
- Level 3, Master Trainer: Earned through further training with our Supervising Physiotherapist, plus involvement in CPD delivery. Typically 6 to 12 months from start.
The role day to day: Around 5 hours of 1 to 1 stretch sessions per scheduled day, in 25 and 50 minute formats. We provide the clients, the marketing, the studio, the kit and the branded uniform. Your job is to retain the clients we hand you so well they come back and bring their friends. Engagements run on a consistent weekly pattern that you propose (same days, same times, same home studio), because our clients book repeat sessions with named practitioners they trust. Your Studio Manager and Team Leaders are there to help you succeed: full diary, happy clients, smooth rebookings.
Which level might you join at?
- Level 1 if you have a background in personal training, physical therapy, massage therapy, yoga, osteopathy or similar bodywork, and you're ready to learn the StretchLAB method.
- Level 2 if you have 12 months of hands on assisted stretching, sports massage or similar bodywork experience, and a strong track record of client retention.
- Level 3 if you are an experienced bodywork professional (physiotherapist, sports therapist, osteopath, advanced PT, or equivalent) with several years of clinical or hands on practice, and capable of mentoring others.
Across all levels: fluent English, personal liability insurance, ability to offer weekend availability to match our peak client demand, and the kind of personality that makes clients want to come back.
Freelance, outside IR35: Self employed. You manage your own tax and National Insurance, and hold your own personal liability insurance. You propose the weekly availability pattern that suits you, and may take on other work outside StretchLAB. Engagements are offered where your proposed pattern matches our client demand, and you are free to update your availability between engagement periods. We handle the admin. We process invoicing on your behalf and provide a clear monthly breakdown of base, weekend uplift, commission and tips. Studio space, kit, products and branded t-shirt all provided at no cost. Clear tax position. We confirm IR35 status via HMRC's CEST tool before each engagement, so you know exactly where you stand from day one.
