The Role

We are appointing a Master Trainer to take ownership of training standards, team performance, and delivery quality across our London studios. This is a senior management leadership position for someone who understands premium level bodywork, performance metrics, and is comfortable holding others to account. You will not be managing from a distance. You will be on the floor, conducting training, and in studios, setting the benchmark through your own delivery. Salary growth and progression are directly linked to the value you deliver.

Core Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Ownership
    • Partner with Studio Managers and Head Office to attract high calibre candidates.
    • Proactively identify and engage potential Stretchologists.
    • Lead interviews and selection using structured processes.
    • Ensure recruitment decisions are driven by business need and long term performance.
  • Training and Professional Development
    • Lead Level 1 Stretchology training alongside Team Leaders, and Supervising Physiotherapist.
    • Ensure all new starters meet a clear minimum competency threshold before working with clients.
    • Design and deliver ongoing training programmes for the Stretchologist team.
    • Conduct regular performance assessments focused on stretching standards, client experience, and retention.
    • Build and manage CPD plans using objective performance data.
  • Team Performance and Retention
    • Take accountability for team retention and engagement.
    • Conduct regular one to one check ins, prioritising underperformance or capability gaps.
    • Work with Studio Managers to develop, promote, and retain top performers.
    • Maintain a culture of professionalism, consistency, and accountability.
  • Assisted Stretching Leadership
    • Deliver world class one to one assisted stretching in a safe, tailored, and professional manner.
    • Set the technical and service standard for Stretchologists and Team Leaders through your own delivery.
    • Build and maintain a strong base of regular clients.
    • Achieve and sustain a minimum booking percentage of 85 percent once established.
  • Sales and Commercial Performance
    • Lead by example in upselling and conversion.
    • Set, track, and review individual and studio sales targets.
    • Analyse sales data and conversion metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Support pricing and promotional activity in line with Head Office direction.

About You

  • Proven experience teaching a bodywork discipline such as Assisted stretching, Sports Therapy, Physiotherapy, Massage, or similar.
  • Hands on background delivering bodywork, not purely instructional or managerial.
  • Highly detail focused, structured, and comfortable working with performance data.
  • Confident leading performance reviews, assessments, and training evaluations.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to influence sales and conversion.
  • Calm, direct, and respected by teams for consistency and fairness.
  • Motivated by responsibility, progression, and measurable impact.

  • £30,000–£40,000 basic salary, commensurate with experience and skills.
  • OTE up to £50,000 through clearly defined performance measures.
