If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people's lives for the better, we'd love to hear from you. This role is specifically to provide support to clients pre, during and post entry to residential rehabilitation. The role involves transporting clients to residential rehabilitation services in areas typically outside of the Scottish Borders for which travel expenses are reimbursed. On occasion, this role will require a degree of flexibility in working hours.

This is a part-time role working 18.75 hours per week. Please note for this role SVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care is required for SSSC registration purposes, a driving license, and access to a vehicle is also essential.

As a Recovery Worker, you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will develop plans with your clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be. We are determined and always professional in our approach to each and every case and we never judge, we're just here to help.
