Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales, you’ll be responsible for heading up our New Business (NB) department, owning and executing on the NB strategy and working cross‑functionally to deliver exceptional experiences for new clients.
  • This is a high‑impact, full‑cycle sales role with a player–coach remit. You will generate and close new opportunities while coaching and directing the Business Development Representative (BDR) to maximise outbound performance and pipeline creation.
  • Your responsibilities will include:

Revenue & Pipeline Generation

  • Owning the NB revenue line and strategy, and delivering against ambitious quarterly targets
  • Generating a high‑quality pipeline through proactive outbound outreach
  • Running full sales cycles from prospecting through to close
  • Increasing the number of StrengthscopePlus™ contracts and multi‑year agreements secured through NB.

BDR Leadership & Team Performance

  • Managing day‑to‑day performance of the BDR, including weekly sales meetings and coaching
  • Overseeing outbound activity plans and ensuring consistent execution against activity KPIs
  • Ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM discipline using Salesforce
  • Establishing best‑practice outbound standards and modelling high‑performance behaviours.

Strategic Sales & Market Focus

  • Collaborating with the Head of Corporate Sales to design and execute a strategic NB plan
  • Prioritising conversion of marketing‑generated leads, improving lead‑to‑opportunity conversion rates
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, customer needs and competitor insights to ensure our solutions remain relevant and competitive.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partnering closely with Marketing to align outbound and inbound activity to campaign priorities
  • Contributing to a seamless handover and onboarding process
  • Sharing insights across teams to influence product development, marketing messages, and customer success outcomes.

Skills & Attributes:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a full-cycle NB role with a proven track record of achieving individual revenue targets
  • Strong outbound prospecting capability and confidence in generating your own pipeline
  • Experience managing or mentoring others (formally or informally)
  • Commercial acumen, including experience closing contracted or recurring revenue deals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence credibly at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Growth mindset: you seek continuous improvement and remain humble and solution‑focused
  • Natural coaching instincts: you enjoy helping others grow and succeed
