Job Description
StrengthLabLDN is growing.
We’re looking for a passionate Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team and help us continue building one of South West London’s leading strength coaching environments across Battersea Park and Wimbledon Park.
Since launching in 2019, StrengthLabLDN has grown into a performance-focused coaching business operating across both locations.
We specialise in delivering:
• 1-to-1 coaching
• 2-to-1 coaching
• Small group strength sessions
• Personalised programming
• Athletic performance coaching
Our mission is simple:
Help people return to strength, build performance, and train for life.
THE ROLE
This is a part-time, self-employed coaching role based across our Battersea Park and Wimbledon Park locations, with the potential for hybrid programming work.
You will be responsible for:
• Delivering high-quality 1-to-1 and small group coaching
• Designing structured strength training programmes
• Conducting movement and performance assessments
• Supporting clients with injury prevention and return-to-strength training
• Building strong long-term client relationships
Our clients range from athletes and lifters to busy professionals who want to train properly.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
This role suits a coach who:
• Is passionate about strength training and performance
• Wants to build a long-term career in coaching
• Takes pride in delivering high coaching standards
• Is confident working with both athletes and general population clients
Preferred qualifications include:
• CSCS / UKSCA / NSCA or equivalent
• Degree in Sports Science, Exercise Science, or a related field
• Experience coaching in a strength or performance environment
CAREER PROGRESSION
This role begins as a self-employed coaching position with the opportunity to progress into a long-term salaried role as StrengthLabLDN continues to grow.
We are looking for coaches who want to build a career and grow with the business.
COACHES THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR
StrengthLabLDN is a coaching environment, not a commercial gym floor.
This role is not suited for coaches who:
• Want to casually coach a few sessions without investing in their development
• Prefer generic training templates rather than structured programming
• Are uncomfortable working with clients returning from injury
• Are not interested in developing their knowledge of strength and performance
We are building a professional strength coaching environment and expect our coaches to take pride in their craft.
If you’re passionate about strength coaching and want to work in a high-performance environment in London, we’d love to hear from you.
