Streetwise Opera is looking to appoint an ambitious and self-motivated individual to lead on implementing the Trusts and Foundations strategy. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and members of the Senior Management Team, the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager plays a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing funders to generate maximum income from grant-giving organisations.
Led by the Head of Fundraising, the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager will work alongside the Senior Philanthropy Manager and Fundraising & Company Coordinator to achieve Streetwise Opera’s annual fundraising target.
The role involves developing excellent relationships with trusts and foundations and public funders to build long-term support, leading on a pipeline of funding applications and carrying out research into potential new grants.
The successful candidate will write high-quality funding applications and reports, create and develop budgets for applications and work closely with project teams to ensure relevant monitoring and evaluation data is captured for reporting. They will also support the Head of Fundraising and CEO with major trust and foundation prospecting and stewardship.
We will guarantee first round interviews to candidates who have lived experience of homelessness and meet the essential criteria.

Hours: 14 hours (2 days) per week. Preferred working days would be some combination of Monday, Tuesday or Thursday.
Location: Hybrid, combining office-based work in Shoreditch, London with home working, or remote, working from home with occasional contact within the regions where we work.
